Founder Biography

Maj Gen (Dr) Sansadeen Adebanjo Awosanya (rtd). FSS, MSS, DSS, UNIFIL, MNIM, MBA, ACIT, FCCNA, mni. as his contribution towards proper training of Nigerian youths. Major General Awosanya served in the Nigerian Army for 30 years before he retired. The General is a man of many parts- an administrator, a financial analyst, a strategist, a manager of man, material and money. The General is a Member of the Association of Certified National Accountants of Nigeria (CNA), Member of Nigeria Institute of Management (MNIM), member of the prestigious National Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) where bagged his MNI.

He attended the University of Lagos and Federal University of Technology, Akure, and bagged his PhD in Accounting from Marlborough University, Honolulu, USA. Whilst in the Army he had the following medals to his credit:

  • Forces Service Star (FSS),
  • Meritorious Service Star (MSS),
  • Distinguished Service Star (DSS) and
  • United Nation Interim Forces in Lebanon (UNIFIL).

Founder

Since leaving the army on a meritorious note, he has devoted his time to business and academic pursuits. He has been successful in both and has acquired degrees up to PhD from reputable universities. He attained the summit in the military, business and academic fields through hard work. This was characterized by determination, honesty, integrity and good character. He has decided to impart these ideals in young Nigerians for proper national development. His vision is to build the Nigerian that the Nation clamors for. Hence the establishment of this proposed University. The University shall contribute to the economy of the region in particular and the state as a whole. 

The University is conceived as a response to Government’s call towards contributing to educational development in the country by individuals or group of people or religious bodies. It is to serve as a catalyst in the educational, moral and entrepreneurial development of the people in Nigeria in particular and the world in general. It shall also seek to inculcate values in the students that will inspire them to be future leaders that will be job creators rather than job seekers.
