Goals and Objectives

The objectives of the Aletheia University, Ago-Iwoye as provided by the University Law shall be to:

Encourage and promote the advancement of learning and hold out to all persons without distinction of race, creed, sex, religious or political conviction the opportunity to acquire university education;

Provide an environment of international standards for learning, research, acquisition of specialized skills and comprehensive training of students empowering them to apply knowledge and skill to the benefit of society;

Encourage and promote scholarship and conduct research in all fields of learning and human endeavour;
Evolve academic programmes to suit the changing social and economic needs of the society through continuous review of curricular and developments of new programmes through programme structural flexibility to respond to societal and technological changes;

Produce internationally acceptable graduates that could compete favourably with their peers anywhere in the world;

Carry out basic and applied research leading to the domestication and application of new technology to the Nigerian context through collaborative linkages with other academic and research institutions globally;
Establish a centre for entrepreneurial studies to stimulate job creation and innovative abilities in students from the onset of their studies, in such a way that graduates shall be resourceful, self-reliant and job creators;
Complement the efforts of the Government in bridging the widening unemployment gap by creating job opportunities for Nigerians; and
